By Charles Novitsky: Non-Credentialed Economist
If our founding fathers feared one thing—it was for their new creation in Washington DC to get too big. They looked upon the birth of the Federal Government, as a medicine to remedy some of the disorganization present in the early states, and created what they believed was a league of states. But as with most medicines—too much can poison you. They worked hard to find the right dosage of Washington government, because the last thing they wanted, was for Washington to become like the British bully they fought so hard beat. They risked their lives, becoming British terrorists, to prevent the King's henchmen from telling them how to live their our own private lives. This arguably was the first "Civil War" on American soil, almost a century before Lincoln's civil war.
Unfortunately, we have seen, and will continue to see, greater and greater Federal growth, and more unconstitutional bullying by Washington. How big of a bully, no one can predict. This year the country of Cyprus confiscated part of the bank accounts of its citizens to pay its debts. Perhaps then, it may surprise some that Washington started bullying the states and its citizens nearly right away, just 20 years after the constitution was passed. Washington DC outlawed forms free speech, and arrested people if they dare criticize a politician. They called it the Sedition act of 1798. Benjamin Franklin's grandson was put in prison to die, for calling president Adams bald and querulous, amongst other adjectives. ( more info ) . But the sin of this unconstitutional sedition act was tiny compared to the big government started in the 1860’s by President Lincoln.
Yes, although we all "like to love" Lincoln, he was Washington DC's first big bully—he was the first president to forcefully draft men to their death to fight for the government, it was called conscription. He was the first American president to violate the constitution's intent of "Life & Liberty", and force our young men to fight and kill their brethren. In Lincoln's Civil War, Cain killed Abel, as his northern troops marched south, burning villages, farms, and killing nearly half a million of our southern brothers. Even raping women and robbing home owners as the troops left a path of blood and ashes in their massacre march ( more info ). The idea of a draft was so detested by American voters, there were even huge riots in the streets of New York over this new form of slavery of the population--military slavery( more info ). But lets not forget that Lincoln was also the first president to confiscate the peoples money with the income tax, though it was not permanent. He, like many Washington politicians, believed the state owns its people, and therefore should be entitled to take away their wealth and possessions, provided they simply had a good excuse. This income tax was called the “revenue act of 1861”.
Ever since this pivotal moment in Washingtonopoly, federal government has gained power using our tax monies to feed itself, to grow larger, to take still more tax money, to feed itself and grow larger, like weeds on the lawn. But in this case, the weeds have figured out a permanent way of getting their own bottle of fertilizer ( i.e. income tax money). The weeds are using the tax-fertilizer, to grow themselves, and now they are the size of the monster plant in “The Little Shop Of Horrors”.
The price these weeds make us pay to feed it, extracts the nutrition needed by the better, pretty plants desired on the lawn, even the fruit bearing trees. The weeds curtail and hamper business and job growth. They interfere in money creation and the entire economy, and thus feed off the maximum potential wealth, employment and prosperity of every man, woman, and baby. The weeds are even feeding off of future generations, through Washington debt, deficit, and borrowing. According to economists John Dawson, and John Seater, in the Journal of Economic Growth, the average American family would be six times wealthier, that’s about $330,000 dollars richer, if it wasn't for government siphoning off this productivity from our society. ( more info )
But money, and the lost American wealth caused by big Washington are not the only issues. We have lost some of our freedoms, and history predicts it will likely get worse. We have the IRS, NSA, FBI, and other secret organizations, spying not only on citizens, but even on politicians in Congress. Some of this spying this took place before 9/11 as with the Watergate scandal, and even prior to that. So the excuse of needing to "prevent terrorism" is not entirely true, nor honest.
But it is when we look at all the other problems we got in this sour deal with the monster weed, that we start to realize its scope, and the futility in the system we feed each April 15th. We have an Orwellian, autocratic government, that has indebted unborn children to a $17 trillion dollar debt, and takes a large percentage of productivity (GDP 25%) to feed itself and its crony minions. We have had far too many expensive wars since WW2, that have nothing to do with peace in America, though pro-war enthusiasts claim all sort of rationalizations. We have over two million Americans in prison, many for harmless, but arguably stupid drug use. Laws on drug use are forbidden to be made by Washington, according to the constitution's enumerated powers. It is written that only States may have that power, yet Washington has stolen the law anyway. Ever since the department of education was created in 1979, we have amongst the worlds worst school system. After 1979, American students fell to the bottom of performance in math, amongst 31 other countries, based on an international test called PISA. Incidentally, making any laws or rules on education is also prohibited to Washingtoncrats by the constitution.
It appears that Washington DC is jinxed, and nearly everything they try to do, or try to fix becomes even worse. Just like the bungling plumbers seen in the Three Stooges movies, the more they try to fix the pipes, the bigger the leaks and disasters they cause.
In summary, and the main point is—we cannot allow Washington to get bigger and bigger and make these problems worse, while they claim they're solving them, after all in some cases, they've caused the problems in the first place. If Americans fail to see this pattern, and act to stop it, Washington will continue to feed itself, and like the monster weed on the lawn, destroy the entire home. The solution may be to take away the bottle of fertilizer ( i.e. tax money ) it has usurped to feed itself. We should therefore be wary of the forthcoming tactics they will try to use, like Internet sales tax, which is a national sales tax, that will give them even more money-fertilizer. You may one day wake up in horror, to discover this monster weed sleeping in your bed, breathing right beside you.

Bernanke Threatens To Slow Imaginary Money Creation: Markets Panic….But Is it too late? economic damage Already been done! ( Economics )
By Charles Novitsky Non-Credentialed Economist
This week the 12 members of the federal reserve bank begrudgingly announced an end to their gravy train of money printing, or more accurately artificial money creation through bond buying with imaginary dollars. The creative name for this bond and asset buying is misleadingly named “Monetary Easing”, a term that never existed until recent.
As predicted, the stock market lost value, because investment experts know that this imaginary money creation is one of the major causes of inflation. Inflation, where costs of most products continually go up in price, and cost more, like food, cars, college, doctors and clothing. This rising cost problem discourages people from saving, because the value of the saved money shrinks instead of growing. Thus granny, our seniors, and everyone else must resort to buying risky wall streets stocks that can lose them money and their life's savings. Even worse, in trying to counteract the shrinking dollar, we are taxed on this inflationary money. Perhaps this is one reason Washington loves inflation.
Another way to look at it is that Federal Reserve Bank policies cause all kinds of side effects on stocks, home ownership, prosperity, and even job loss. Not only is it a valid question if the Federal Reserve Bank should be allowed to continue tampering with the economic engine of society, but how much damage have they already done. Wouldn't it be nice if we could make Washington and the Federal Reserve Bank atone for past deeds, and repay us for the lost prosperity caused to each and every man, woman, and child in America. Big deal if they stop tomorrow, a bank thief may stop his crime spree tomorrow as well, but that doesn’t mean we forgive him for the past. But We can probably predict, that soon, another excuse will be given to us by Washington why they must print more money for our own good. They never mention it is really for Federal government's good, so they can make it easier to pay back the $17.2 trillion dollar debt created by our fat cat politicians spending sprees.
The Federal Reserve Bank was created 100 years ago in 1913, so this is the 100th year anniversary of the idea that Washington can manage the blood supply of our economy and prosperity. It is this prosperity that gives everyone a job, food on the table, and goodies on the store shelves to buy. Americas favorite hobby might be when we go on our weekend shopping sprees. Tampering with this blood supply is quite dangerous economically. Many of our worlds freest democratic countries have collapsed from interfering with money and the economy. According to Economists Hubbard and Kane in their book titled "Balance", mighty Rome fell soon after inflating their money, and ironically creating a welfare state, and entitlements to keep the voters happy. Other economists such as Milton Friedman PhD, lectured that it conceited of Washington to believe it can control the flow of money and protect it value, when they actually harm our trust in money. Professor Friedman also taught us the Federal Reserve Bank not only failed to prevent 1929 depression and its job loss, they actually made it much much worse. ( professor Friedman's Depression lecture on YouTube )
So why else does Washington love inflation? Brilliant economists have been debating with each other for decades whether or not an inflationary money system is good or evil. Sadly, Washington prefers to hear those economist that tell them what they want to hear--that its good to print more and more money, and good to spend-spend-spend. Money is the blood supply that allows Washington to keep on growing. Unfortunately like other parasites that grows at the expense of their hosts, the bigger Washington gets, the more it needs to feed off the workers and business, and the harder it becomes for new business to start up, and create more jobs by hiring more people.
Americans pay a steep price for these inflationary shenanigans by the federal reserve bank in other ways. Perhaps one of the most serious is invisibly taking money and food out of the pockets of the poorest Americans, and even depriving them extra potential purchasing power with each new paycheck, here's how that happens. In a economy thus puts its wealth into a voucher system, like the dollar, everyone gets out what they put into the system, with a fixed amount of vouchers, like gold coins, the value of our value, or slice of the pie, goes up, as the economy grows, and as the population grows bigger with time. these vouchers, a type of receipt representing what we have contributed to the economy remain the same in a normal fixed(stationary commodity ) money system. That’s why gold has been used for thousands of years as the fixed carrier for wealth. to tamper with this fixed value is economically dangerous for jobs and prosperity, and to print extra receipts for wealth is very similar to counterfeiting money. legalists say when the government prints money its not counterfeiting, and of course that’s exactly what Washington has conveniently decided to believe.. but it causes the same result for readers of this column.
The question is how much damage has the fed already done. do we need to make them admit accountability and responsibility for the past damage to the economy.
The federal reserve bank, officially known as the federal reserve system, was created by Washington in 1913, by the federal reserve act. The problem is that the constitution gives Washington the power to coin money, but no authority to CREATE money, a big difference... Coining money means taking gold or silver, and stamping its value on it, usually with a pretty design. Thus everything Washington winks the fed into doing is unconstitutional according to constitutional scholars like woods and linguini.
the fed is guilty of the following past offenses
manipulation of interest rates cause production bubbles that multiply job loss, unemployment, and toxic malinvestment, by individuals and businesses
manipulated interest rates and imaginary money creation fuel inflation, which coerces people, and businesses to resort to investment gambling to keep their assets from shrinking
inflationary strategies deprive every worker from getting an invisible raise each paycheck
Furthermore, according to economists Schiff, block, Solow, and others everything the fed is doing is financially and economically unkosher Yes, it is likely too much damage has already been done since 1913. So is it time to stop the game.. it is time to stop the printing presses, and end this politburo called the federal reserve bank
Sort of like the voodoo doctor that doesn’t know what he or she is doing, and actually make the health problem worse.

Short Version: Political Theory: Washington's Social Programs--Breaking Up Is Hard To Do!
As the song goes "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do". When a relationship ends, it often causes a lot of pain, separation anxiety, and insecurity. This separation fear can occur even if we realize the relationship was dysfunctional. There usually is temporarily a feeling of being lost, like being in a row-boat without a paddle. One could call this an emotional dependency--the "addiction to love".
Likewise we see the government's policies and programs, once created, can form bonds with its citizens, an emotional dependency. Even if this policy proves to be hurtful, or illogical to the society, with poor results, people fear when these these policies are ended. People often predict havoc will occur, if this or that program, is ever ended.
Lets take drug laws as an example. Experts say the war on drugs causes many unintended problems for society. such as...
1) Causes illegal money to go to dangerous drug cartels and gangs ( think alcohol Prohibitions creation of murderous Al Capone )
2) Imprisons many harmless curious youth, and tarnishes their future employability with a criminal record. ( Obama would not never have been President if jailed for his admitted drug use)
4) Exposes non-criminal youth in prison to dangerous felons, and educates them to become better criminals.
4) Has wasted approximately one trillion dollars since the 1960s war on drugs was started.
Yet although many believe this is an erroneous policy, we can't seem to end this social policy dependency, and many claim drug addicts would start raining out of the sky if drugs were decriminalized. We have approximately 600,000 people in our prisons for nonviolent victimless drug issues.
A similar scenario plays out in our American society in many other ways with the many other addictive social programs. And that too is part of the problem, we have so many many programs that when we add them up, we begin to see the enormous scope of how society is being misdirected and misshaped. Most Americans would likely rather have a well paying job, and prosperity, rather than maintain this erroneous taxpayer funded Utopia, yet we can't seem to stop these failed idealist trends. Like a heavy train or car that gets into motion, it is hard to stop it by pushing back.
Some failed programs started off as great ideas, but were poorly orchestrated, or thereafter ruined by Washington politicians. Welfarism, or the protection of the poorer segments of our society never worked out as promised. Many experts argue, that our welfare mentality has caused harm to the poor by crowding them into poor government affordable housing that soon breed crime, and creates an atmosphere of hopelessness.
And sadly, the same addictive conclusion can be made from many of our modern policies and programs of the new Washingtontopia.
- Aid to Foreign Countries going to America's enemies, and facilitating dictator governments.
- Federal Reserves tampering with interest rates, causing inflation and lost savings for Americans.
- Military use to spread democracy to middle east and other countries, risking homeland safety.
- Fannie Mae's contribution towards unaffordable housing bubbles.
- Taxes on employers causing unemployment and job loss overseas, and hurting business startups.
- Dept Of Education's interference with teaching, to make our students amongst the worlds worst in performance. ( 31 lowest in Math, 23 lowest in science PISA 2009 )
- USDA's farmers paid not to grow crops.
- Social Security mismanagement causing future bankruptcy, instead of being fixed through privatization.
Not only do these failures cost Americans lost money through unuseful taxation, even worse, they causes harm to the entire economy, by diverting useful funds, entrepreneurial energy, man-hours and other resources from prosperity and the productivity in the private market. These are the factory and businesses that gives us our jobs, and the iPhones or widgets we desire. This economic market, according to Nobel prize winning economist Friedrich Hayek, its what makes us free and ended the slavery of serfdom, and the toil of the previous agricultural farm society (subsistence farming). Without this freedom, we are all economically poor eventually.
Devising a restraint on Washington's idealism through the constitution might be a new solution. Enforcing existing rules in the constitution will require the creation of a "constitution enforcement committee". A trusted organization, run by the people and constitution experts, that enforces the constitution not only on Congress, but the President, and most importantly on the Supreme Court. Many law experts mistakenly believe the Supreme Court is the final judge of what is constitutional. This is not entirely accurate, the Supreme Court is the final arbiter for disputes amongst the states, and general laws of the land, but not our constitutional rights. Having the Supreme Court decide what is "allowed to be allowed" to itself, is akin to having the fox in charge of the chicken coop, and Thomas Jefferson knew this well.

Political Theory: Washington's Social Programs--Breaking Up Is Hard To Do!
Just like when two people meet each other and form a relationship, if, and when the relationship ends, the pain of breaking up can be hard to fathom and deal with. This fear and pain often occurs even if we happen to know the relationship was detrimental. There usually is temporarily a feeling of being lost, like being in a row-boat without a paddle. One could call this a social or emotional dependency--like the "addiction of love".
Likewise we see the government's policies and programs, once created, can form bonds with its citizens, an emotional dependency. Even if this policy proves to be hurtful, or illogical to the society in its results, people fear the emptiness of this policy being ended. Some are often there to predict havoc will occur if this or that program is ever ended.
Lets take drug use as an example.
3) Wastes prison space. ( best use is for violent offenders, and thieves )
4) Exposes non-criminal youth in prison to dangerous felons, and educates them to become better criminals.
5) Wastes expensive court time and state cost overhead.
6) Distracts police resources and officers from the more important violent issues.
7) Has wasted approximately one trillion dollars since the 1960s war on drugs was started.
Yet although many believe this is an erroneous policy, we can't seem to end this social policy dependency, and many claim drug addicts would start raining out of the sky if drugs were decriminalized. We have approximately 600,000 people in our prisons for nonviolent victimless drug issues. These imprisoned people are not able to contribute to the economy of America, such as the GDP/PPR ( gross domestic product, private product remaining ). Instead they suck up our taxes and resources because each prisoner costs Americans $20,000 to $40,000 to feed and keep in prison each and every year. But again, no one can dare stop this merry-go-round drug policy for fear of everyone in society suddenly becoming a drug addict, and society thus ending.
A similar scenario plays out in our American society in many other ways with the many other addictive social programs. And that too is part of the problem, we have so many many programs that when we add them up, we begin to see the enormous scope of how society is being misdirected and misshaped. The modern fabric of a healthy free society, and our natural anthropological social norms, from millions of years of social evolution are being tampered with, by many of these well intended programs. The price we pay can be social disruption like those in Hitlers Germany era, Lenin and Stalin's Russia eras, and the loss of some of our freedoms and liberties. But ultimately according to economist Milton Friedman PhD, the price we pay is job loss ( i.e unemployment ), and a less prosperous economy, where there is less wealth for the poor and middle class. Instead our wealth is diverted to big government ( Washington and taxes) , and big business ( Enron, GE, Halliburton ), and big military ( Lockheed Martin, Grumman, and 600 military bases worldwide).
Areas where negative or unlearnt work ethics become contagiously spread amongst each other, and infests the youth of the next generation. According to political scientists like Charles Murray, this tends to make this poverty permanent. these well intentioned hand-out programs fool its recipients into dangerous complacency and just like a lack of exercise makes it harder to run and keep in shape-- doling out free money makes it harder to keep one's motivations, aspirations, and work ethics. The longer you remain on the dole, the harder it becomes each year to ever escape.
- Social Security mismanagement causing future bankruptcy, instead of being fixed through privatization.
http://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/omb/expectmore/rating/notperform.html . It may be of interest to some, that all these powers and programs are forbidden to Washington DC ( i.e. the Federal Government), by our wonderful constitution in article 1 section 8, the list of allowed enumerated powers authorized. It is a list worth looking up, and understanding.
And, so not only does this failure cost Americans lost money through unuseful taxation, even worse, it causes harm to the entire economy, by diverting useful funds, energy, man-hours and other resources from prosperity and productivity in the private market. This is the factory market that gives us our jobs, and the iPhones or widgets we desire. this economic market, according to nobel prize winning economist Friedrich Hayek, its what makes us free and ended the slavery of serfdom, and the toil of the previous agricultural farm society (subsistence farming). Without this freedom, we are all economically poor eventually.
The point is once a government program is born, once the momentum of a government policy infects its host it becomes hard to reverse. Furthermore some people get so accustomed to this policy they believe its normal, especially if they were born after this policy was created. They have not had the wisdom to see how society may have well existed prior to, and without its advent, and even more so, believe to end it would be havoc.
What conclusions or solutions can we now make realizing this blindside in human nature? Perhaps it is important to realize that changing is hard, even if it means changing back from a dysfunctional situation--and therefore, that is why it must be done--because we know we tend to become complacently addicted.
The question remains--what can be done to solve this idealism that causes Washington to create these failed "feel good" mal-solutions? It is simply enforcing the restraint on innate human idealism strategized by the constitution, though this alone won't guarantee us some perfect society, but perhaps just a little better. Like being alone and lonely is not a great situation for the lovelorn, but it is far better than an abusive dangerous relationship.
Enforcing the restraint on Washington utopian idealism by the constitutions existing rules means the creation of a new organization in America to enforce the constitution in Washington-- the "constitution enforcement committee". A trusted organization run by the people and constitution experts, that makes sure all congressmen know the constitution, and enforces the constitution not only on congress, but the president, and most importantly on the supreme court. Many law experts mistakenly believe the supreme court is the final judge of what is constitutional. This is not entirely accurate, the supreme court is the final arbiter for disputes amongst of the states, and general laws of the land, but not our constitutional rights. This sole right to interpret the constitution rests with the parties that created the constitution and the foederal government ( federal mistyped on purpose due to its original spelling and meaning ), and that power rests with the state colonies, and the people of those states. Having the supreme court decide what it is allowed to allow itself to do it akin to having the fox in charge of the chicken coop, and Thomas Jefferson knew this well.

Letter To Steve Forbes
Steve.... there is something only you can accomplish... creating a panel called the "Constitution Enforcement Committee".
We need a “people's panel” that reports to the citizens each week, in a semiofficial manner, on Washington DC's misdeeds, as seen from the constitution. A believable panel the has the respect to declare Washington in violation of the constitution, and be able to clearly explain to the public—why our forefathers forbade it in the constitution, and where it says so. A tribunal with the clout to critique the Supreme Court and Congress and President.
Part of the goal of this tribunal is exposing Americans to the constitution and teaching the citizen audience how to apply it and interpret it. As you already know, the Supreme Court often sides with Washington, and mistakenly believes it is the final and sole arbiter of what is to be interpreted as constitutional. Forcefully of course.
Steve... only you have the clout to assemble a respected team of “constitution law experts”...”public administration theory experts” and form “The People's Constitution Tribunal”. Only you have the connections and resources to publish the findings of this constitution tribunal every week in your magazines, and syndicate it in several daily newspapers. The proceedings of this panel must also be broadcast nationwide, hopefully weekly, on cable or TV. YouTube and other social media outlet streaming, would be advantageous as well.
Sort of like a good form of McCarthyism, bust just as powerful and accusatory, this panel will hold no punches. The tribunal must vilify or praise Congresspeople, vilify or praise Supreme Court decisions and the individual opinions of the justices therein, and of course the Executive's office. A certain portion of this broadcast is historical, and retrospective of important past constitutional events, people or decisions that explain the mess we find ourselves and our country in today. Another section deals with credentialed advisement on where the country should be headed to in the future, with a focus on the correct course for the President's office, and all of Washington.
This is America's last chance to unbury the constitution before it is relegated as a work of fiction or poetry of the past.. before Orwell's nightmare becomes a permanent and daily reality.
Please help America
Regards
